Eleonore (Elle)
Founder & Yoga Instructor
Originally from France, Eleonore moved to Byron Bay 15 years ago for a change of lifestyle and has been practicing yoga since. She met her Ashtanga Teacher Dena Kingsberg in Byron and trained with her during a two-year apprenticeship where she learned the practice of yoga teaching and student adjusting, along with pranayama, anatomy & yogic philosophy.
Eleonore has been practicing Ashtanga for 14 years and has been teaching all styles of yoga for 10 years. She simply loves teaching yoga, from dynamic Vinyasa to more relaxing Hatha. She modifies her class according to the age, fitness condition, and mood of her students, so everyone feels welcome and can practice the postures.
She also teaches gentle mindfulness in her classes, as she is very fortunate to study Zen Buddhism and loves imbuing a sense of stillness and contentment.
But mostly, she loves her students and always enjoys a good laugh with them..
Leigh
Yoga Instructor
Leigh has been teaching and practicing yoga in the Byron Shire for the last decade. Her connection to the practice begun many years prior to this as a student at Qi Yoga, Manly.
It was the feeling of total calm and ease in body and mind she felt after each class, that drew her further along the path to become a dedicated student and eventually a teacher of the ancient practice.
Leigh is passionate about helping people to slow down, restore and heal. From her own experience of achieving these states through yoga, she teaches with confidence in the powerful force of yoga.
Leigh helps her students to reach a state of improved well-being through yin, restorative and gentle Hatha practices. Her classes are well balanced and attuned to the needs of her students. She is a wonderful teacher and you will surely feel a sense of calm and stillness after a session with her.
